So! I've created this Halifax Bucket List to help me bid a proper fond "bye for now" to this city that I love so dearly. My intention is to get as many of these activities done as possible before the Great Departure. I am open to suggestions for things that should be added and I will mark which activities have been accomplished along the way.
THE LIST:
- Going to the Citadel (not just the hill, but the actual fort-ma-jig)
- Ride the Harbour Hopper (Ribbit! Ribbit!)
- Host a Banana Party (for my cat, Banana, when he turns 5)
- Buy Groceries at the Seaport Farmer's Market (instead of just wandering around aimlessly)
- Take a Workshop (for acting, dance, song, puppetry, anything!)
Book an Acting Gig (this one may be trixxy, but not impossible so it stays)- Picnic in Point Pleasant Park (with smuggled wine if possible... and sunhats)
- Attend a Show by Shakespeare By The Sea (I've foolishly never seen one yet)
- Eat a Lobster.
Beach Day at Chocolate Lake- Teach Campers How To "Prancercise"
- Go to Noble (Sorry, no link. It's a secret)
- Get a Chocolate from Brussels Restaurant & Brasserie
- Get My Picture Taken with Theodore Tugboat
- Run Across the MacDonald Bridge and Back Without Stopping
- Host a Potluck
Ride the Ferry for Fun(up top, of course)- Make Salt Water Taffy (and eat it, obvi.)
Buy a bag of Anchored Coffee- Blow Bubbles in the Public Gardens
- Find Loving Homes for my Cats
- Go Whale Watching (and see a whale, ideally)
Go to Showtunez at Menz Bar- Visit Peggy's Cove
- Drink Local Wine
